Mission

MCP Rated is the independent review platform for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. With 11,000+ MCP servers available, developers and teams face a real challenge: which servers are reliable, secure, and well-maintained? We answer that with automated testing, transparent scoring, and evidence-based reviews.

How We Test

Every server in our catalog goes through an automated pipeline that tests protocol conformance, scans for security vulnerabilities, evaluates documentation quality, and checks maintenance health via GitHub signals. Our scoring is transparent and versioned — see the full details on our Methodology page.

Every score is backed by observable, reproducible data from structured live testing. If we can't measure it, we don't score it.

Independence

MCP Rated is not affiliated with any MCP server vendor. Our reviews are independent and based entirely on automated test results. Server maintainers can request a re-test at any time, but they cannot influence scores.
